GUNNER BE BACK IN TIME: Wenger says Wilshere will return before the end of the season [GETTY]

Arsenal chief Wenger also revealed his midfield dynamo has watched EVERY Gunners game while he has been out with a broken foot – and will come back wiser for it.

Wilshere returned to training on Tuesday and posted an image of himself on Twitter wearing training gear.

The England international has been out for six weeks after sustaining a fracture of his left foot in a challenge with Liverpool’s Daniel Agger while playing for the Three Lions against Denmark on March 5.

Wenger’s men go to Hull today in a rehearsal for the FA Cup Final, hoping to cash in on Everton’s defeat at home to Crystal Palace on Wednesday which left the Gunners in pole position for fourth spot and Champions League football next season.

Wilshere will travel and Wenger said: “Jack is close to playing.

“He is starting to jog this week and I would think it will be two to three weeks.

“I am hoping he will be back for our two final games.”

The Frenchman promised he will do all he can to make Wilshere available for a place on the plane to Brazil in the summer.

He said: “I spoke to Roy Hodgson and I told him Jack will be available for England.

“He will be just polished

“I think that he will go. There is no danger he may not be picked because he has not been playing. I think he will go.

“Roy didn’t say – but maybe he didn’t want to share that with me.”

OUCH: Agger causes the injury to Wilshere [PA]

Wilshere’s injury is one of many that have so far blighted his career, with former Manchester United star Paul Scholes recently saying the Arsenal man has not improved since breaking into professional football at the age of 16.

But Wenger, who has previously described Wilshere as his “Zinedine Zidane”, reckons the fans’ favourite will be able to come back stronger, get on top of his injuries and command a regular spot for both club and country.

“I hope he has stabilised now,” Wenger said. “Lionel Messi is the best player in the world and he has been in and out.

“It is the most difficult thing in the world to deal with. Jack has been in and out this year but I think they have sorted out the problem now.

“He is a good watcher. He is the kind of guy who has a natural understanding of the game. He watches and analyses what is going on.

“I have absolutely no doubt he can prove himself to bea world-class player at the World Cup.

“England have a very difficult group and if you come out of a group like that, the belief will be really strong.”

And, after a bad run in the league, Wenger is happy the belief has now returned toThe Emirates as the club chase fourth place in the table and Champions League football for next season.

He added: “Just look at Liverpool. They’ve benefited in that they have not had to play any other games.

“If you take the injuries and all the other games we have played and compare it to Liverpool, I think we are not miles behind them.

“We had injuries in the same area with Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Theo Walcott all out at the same time.

“If that happens, you have a problem."
