- Steven Gerrard's Liverpool under 19 side topped their UEFA Youth League group
- The former captain took charge before the competition started in September
- Nicky Butt has also been coaching Manchester United's under 19 side
- Liverpool have been drawn against their bitter rivals United in the last 16

Steven Gerrard will get his first taste of Liverpool's rivalry with Manchester United from a managerial perspective after they were drawn to face each other in the UEFA Youth League last 16.
The former Liverpool captain took charge of Liverpool's under 18 at Melwood in May last year after taking his first steps into management.
Gerrard later absolved the responsibilities of the under 19 side too and has led them through the UEFA Youth League this season from the start of the group stages.
Steven Gerrard will reignite his rivalry with Manchester United in the UEFA Youth League
Liverpool were drawn against their bitter rivals for the last 16 of the UEFA Youth League
An old foe of Gerrard's will await him in Nicky Butt, who has been leading the United youth side since September as well.
Liverpool drew the home tie after finishing top of their group which consisted of Sevilla, Spartak Moscow and Maribor, while United narrowly escaped their group in second thanks to a 2-0 victory over Brodarac earlier this week.
Butt though, will urge his side to be confident heading into the clash, as they sit four points clear of Liverpool in Premier League 2.
Earlier this season the clash did well to live up to the expectations that accompany such a rivalry with Gerrard's side finishing with 10 men in a 2-2 draw.

Elsewhere, Manchester City drew Inter Milan, the winner of which will face either Liverpool or United, while Tottenham face Monaco and Chelsea welcome Feyenoord in the first legs.
While Liverpool and United's pairing drew much of the attention at the live draw, another mammoth tie made its way out of the bowls, with Bayern Munich drawn against Real Madrid, and Pairs Saint-Germain facing Barcelona.
The last 16 first legs will be played on February 20, with the kick off times to be confirmed at a later date.
