Alexis Sanchez and his Manchester United arrived at their hotel prior to their FA Cup fourth round tie against Yeovil and immediately went for a stretch in the car park.

The Chilean attacker was pictured in the club's tracksuit outside The Hollies Hotel as he made his way into the three star establishment. Sanchez was followed into the team's base, which has parts that are around 400 years old, by his team-mates before they checked in.

Just moments after they had made it into their rooms, United's players were told to assemble in the car park as they took part in an extremely light workout, which was overseen by manager Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff.

The squad could be seen having a kick around on the gravelly surface as they attempted to shake off the malaise brought on by the early flight to Somerset on Friday.

Sanchez completed his high profile move to Old Trafford earlier this week and was handed his debut in the FA Cup clash on Friday.

The Chile international was eligible to play in the competition having missed Arsenal's shock defeat against Nottingham Forest. He started alongside the likes of Michael Carrick and Juan Mata as Mourinho named a strong side for the clash.

Ahead of the game the United boss praised his new star after signing his own new long-term contract.

Talking about the Sanchez deal, he said: 'I think it's a very good deal for us and the player has a fantastic contract.  It's a contract according to his qualities as a player and according to the situation - no transfer fee.

'How much would Alexis Sanchez cost in normal transfer, club to club, as a player with two or three years on his contract? We look at the numbers now and I would say roughly between £100-150m.'

United's players were staying the night in the village of Bower Hinton, located just under seven miles from Yeovil's Huish Park. Mourinho was also pictured disembarking the club's transport and heading into the lobby as the players get settled in.

Nemanja Matic strolled off the coach ahead of the clash against the League Two strugglers, while star striker Romelu Lukaku walked in front of Mourinho. Chris Smalling and Sergio Romero were also visible with the latter handed a chance to impress in goal.

Friday was an historic evening for Mourinho, who celebrated his 55th birthday by leading United for the 100th time. In the 99 games of his tenure so far, the Red Devils have claimed 61 wins, 23 draws and fallen to defeat on 15 occasions.
