Arsene Wenger has given the latest on Arsenal's pursuit of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, claiming a deal is 'still possible but far from close'.
Aubameyang has attracted plenty of interest from the Gunners this January, with delegates from the north London club having flown out to Dortmund to discuss the move last week.
Arsenal have had two bids turned down by Borussia Dortmund for their star striker with the January transfer window deadline looming.

Arsenal have been trying to acquire Aubameyang's services after signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Speaking on Friday ahead of Arsenal's game with Swansea next Tuesday in the Premier League, Wenger provided an update on the Aubameyang saga: 'I cannot tell you more. We have nothing to announce today and at the moment we stay where we are.
'We keep our players, we get Mkhitaryan and we lost Sanchez, our squad is stable. If anything else happens, at the moment I would say I don't know. It's still possible but it's far from being close.
'We will still recruit somebody, it's possible. We will try but we are not close to signing anybody.'
Meanwhile, the Frenchman was also quizzed about Mesut Ozil's contract situation, with Wenger hinting that he could possibly sign on.

Ozil, along with Jack Wilshere, is out of contract at the end of the season but the Gunners are very keen on keeping their German playmaker.
Ozil has been arguably Arsenal's stand-out performer this season, in what has been a difficult campaign for Wenger's side as they look to get back into the Champions League.
On the possibility of Ozil signing a new deal at the Emirates, Wenger replied: 'Not close enough to be optimistic but not far enough to be pessimistic.
'The vibes I get from his commitment, his focus, his desire for achievement with the team, he behaves like somebody who is completely focused, committed and is ready to commit but after that, contract negotiations are what they are. We are not close enough to tell you yes he will do it.'
