Manchester United could yet lose David de Gea to long-time admirers Real Madrid after the Spanish side missed out on their other goalkeeping target.
Zinedine Zidane was keen to sign Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao, but the keeper has decided to stay at his current club.
Kepa has turned down the chance to move to the Bernabeu, after being impressed by a number of his team-mates extending their current deals at San Mames, and he signed a deal of his own on Monday.

His refusal to leave means Real Madrid could now turn their attentions to De Gea, having previously missed out on the Spain No 1.

Florentino Perez is said to be desperate to sign a new keeper, having been unconvinced by Keylor Navas' performances between the sticks.
Kepa's new deal at Bilbao was announced on Monday following 16 months of talks, with the player signing on until June 2025.
He has an 80 million euro release clause, and becomes the club's third highest earner with his new contract.
