HOT OR NOT: Arsene Wenger's decision to pick Alex Iwobi proves correct as Neymar's clamouring for attention goes overlooked
- Despite criticism, Arsene Wenger was correct in his decision to play Alex Iwobi
- Dustin Johnson drove the 432-yard 12th in Hawaii with almost perfect results
- Patience with Javier Hernandez appears to have ran out at the London Stadium
- Hartlepool's plight again highlights how much football needs to look after all
It's Hot or Not time again as Sportsmail's Ian Ladyman reveals what's been making him feel warm and what's been leaving him cold this week.
HOT
A rare appearance in the top section of this column for the Arsenal manager but his decision to select Alex Iwobi against Chelsea was correct.
It was suggested Iwobi should have been dropped after breaking a curfew at the weekend but for Wenger to veer from what he thought was his best line-up would have been to punish himself and his team, rather than his player.
Iwobi — I am sure — will receive his sanction in other ways.
Arsene Wenger was criticised on his decision to pick Alex Iwobi, but it paid off for Arsenal
DENIS BETTS
The Widnes RL coach is a former Manchester United youth team player and was named after Old Trafford icon Denis Law.
But Betts — also an England assistant coach — was in the posh seats to watch Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in midweek.
If you want to learn, it's always a good idea to observe the very best. No matter what your parents may think.
DUSTIN JOHNSON
Equipment advances in golf have been left unchecked for too long, but sometimes you have to admire the power.
Dustin Johnson drove the 432-yard 12th in Hawaii and was only six inches or so from a hole in one.
'I struck it at about 90 per cent,' he claimed. He is a better golfer than he is a liar.

JAVIER HERNANDEZ
This column suggested last summer that West Ham's acquisition of Hernandez and Mark Arnautovic would not take them where they wanted to go.
Now David Moyes is looking to offload the Mexican already. So it looks as though we were half right, which is a decent upgrade on usual efforts.
West Ham are considering cashing in on Javier Hernandez, just six months after signing him
HARTLEPOOL
The North East club are 110 years old and in danger of heading into administration. In need of £150,000, their supporters are crowd-funding in a bid to help out.
That figure of £150k is less than 0.2% of what Barcelona just paid Liverpool for Philippe Coutinho. Sometimes, it is hard to escape the feeling that football needs to look after itself a little more.
NEYMAR
It doesn't matter who you are or what your earn, PSG just isn't Barcelona. Or even Manchester United or Real Madrid or AC Milan.
So while the world gawped at Coutinho on his arrival at the Nou Camp from Liverpool, Neymar was celebrating a penalty in France by balancing his football boot on his head.
Nike will have been delighted. The rest of us were not really watching.
Neymar celebrated his recent goal with his boot on his head, but fewer people now watch him
