Brighton have revived their interest in Angers forward Karl Toko Ekambi.
The 25-year-old Cameroon international was an option for Chris Hughton in the summer and is now back on Brighton's radar.
Brighton are expected to add a striker to their squad in the January window, having scored just 17 goals in 22 games so far this season - the third lowest tally in the Premier League.

They are also pursuing Celtic forward Moussa Dembele but are struggling to reach an agreement over his valuation with the Scottish champions.
Brighton boss, Hughton, has identified Ekambi as an ideal alternative if the Dembele moves goes stale.
Ekambi has been in impressive form in Ligue 1 and has already beaten last season's goal tally, striking nine times in 18 games.
Angers are demanding £12million for the forward, who has also attracted interest from Premier League rivals Burnley and West Brom.
