Juventus could land Liverpool midfielder Emre Can for just £5million next month, according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport.

The German midfielder is out of contract next summer and had appeared likely to depart Anfield on a free transfer at the end of the season.

However, Tuttosport claim that the Reds could allow Can to leave for a small fee in January if they are able to sign a replacement. 

Cenk Tosun has touched down in England as he closes in on a move to Everton.

The Besiktas striker waved goodbye to supporters earlier this week ahead of an expected £25million move to Goodison Park next month.

Tosun took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of him and his partner in London, captioning the image 'everyone is good'.

Leon Goretzka will turn down a number of Premier League clubs to join Bayern Munich on a free transfer next summer, according to Bild.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have all shown interest in the Germany midfielder, but he now looks set to remain in the Bundesliga.

Barcelona have watched Goretzka, while Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest. 

Manchester City legend Richard Dunne believes his former club may accelerate their pursuit of Alexis Sanchez after suffering a double injury blow on New Year's Eve.

Arsenal star Sanchez had been widely expected to move from the Emirates to the Etihad on a free transfer when his current contract expires in the summer, but Dunne feels that City could now be willing to pay a fee to sign him sooner.

City's need for attacking reinforcements was heightened by Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne limping off during their 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace.

SIMON JONES: Southampton are pushing to sign Theo Walcott on an initial loan from Arsenal.

The 28-year-old is eager to play more regularly but Arsenal are braced for a fresh bid from Manchester City for Alexis Sanchez which may influence their decision over allowing Walcott to go.

Everton have also asked about a loan while Watford, Bournemouth, West Ham, Newcastle United and Swansea City have also posted an interest.

SIMON JONES: West Brom have made enquiries about signing Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

The 24-year-old is on loan at Aston Villa and has interest from Crystal Palace and West Ham also.

United will sell for around £4million but Johnstone is playing regularly at Villa Park and would have to compete with Ben Foster at the Hawthorns.

Real Madrid are willing to let Gareth Bale re-join Tottenham - as part of a player-plus-cash deal for Harry Kane.

According to The Daily Star, the Spanish giants are ready to sanction a deal worth £150million next summer following Kane's fine form in 2017.

Bale, who moved to the Bernabeu from Spurs four years ago, also has interest from Manchester United. 

Yannick Carrasco will not be leaving Atletico Madrid for the Premier League in January. 

Atletico CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin told El Transistor: 'The idea with [Yannick] Carrasco is that he stays and becomes one of our main winter reinforcements.

'People speak from ignorance because it is easy to do it, but he has had knee problems and that’s why he has not had a good first half [of the season].'
