Manchester United hope midfield star Paul Pogba can help persuade Juventus striker Paulo Dybala to sign for the club.
The Premier League side are intersted in adding the Agrentine to their squad and believe 'secret agent' Pogba can play a vital role.
The pair enjoyed a successful spell together at Juventus and became close friends while in Turin.
Manchester United eye £90m Paulo Dybala swoop to ease pressure on current strikers
United are eager to bring in a forward to ease the pressure on their current crop of strikers. Their need has only been highlighted following Romelu Lukaku's head injury which forced him off against Southampton.
Meanwhile, 36-year-old Zlatan Ibrahimovic will need more time to be the match winner he once was and Jose Mourinho has already ruled the Swede out for at least a month.
According to the Mirror, Dybala has replaced Barcelona bound Antoine Griezmann as Mourinho's top target and the club hope Pogba can be a factor.
The report suggest United are eyeing a £90 million move for the forward, who has scored 14 Serie A goals this season.

Dybala has now replaced Antoine Griezmann as Jose Mourinho's top transfer target
Pogba appeared to have a hand in Lukaku's transfer to Old Trafford in the summer with the Frenchman being on holiday with the striker when the news broke.
Mourinho will be hoping for a similar outcome as his side slip behind Chelsea into third in the league.
