And following their latest defeat at Stoke, their new boss, who replaced Tony Pulis last month, sent out a positive message.

'There's enough quality in that dressing room,' he said.


Albion are a point from the foot of the table and three points from safety heading into the festive fixtures, which start with the visit of Everton on Boxing Day.

'We have half a season left but have to find a win,' said Pardew. 'It has to start soon. Everton will be a key game.'
