Inter Milan reportedly want to take out of favour Henrikh Mkhitaryan on loan from Manchester United.

Mkhitaryan is a popular figure at United's training ground but has fallen down the pecking order after some poor performances and a disagreement over video analysis after the defeat to Chelsea on November 5.

United signed the Armenia captain for £27million in 2016 but manager Jose Mourinho hinted the 28-year-old could leave when he declared 'every player has his price' last week.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti wants Mkhitaryan to bolster his attacking options but a problem may arise with Inter unable to buy the Armenian following his loan spell.

United will demand over £35million for the attacking midfielder should clubs enquire in the coming weeks.

Sportsmail reported last week that Inter Milan have made their interest known but they would need to sell to fit within Financial Fair Play guidelines.
