Liverpool fans have been warned to expect major problems getting to and from their side’s Premier League clash at Arsenal on Friday night.
Virgin Trains are operating a limited service in and out of London Euston owing to strike action, with only one train an hour between Liverpool and the capital.
The last direct service from Euston to Liverpool leaves at 9.07pm, but the match, which kicks off at 7.45pm, will not finish until around 9.40pm.

The two sides meet at the Emirates in the Premier League. The game kicks off at 7.45pm
Supporters staying for the entire game who wish to travel back on the train will be forced to head back to Liverpool via Manchester Piccadilly.
The first service after full-time departs London at 11pm and does not pull into Liverpool Lime Street until 5.30am — after a near three-hour wait in Manchester.
Road closures near the Emirates Stadium will also severely disrupt supporters trying to get to the game by car for a match that is being shown live on Sky Sports.

Liverpool have been allocated 3,000 tickets and fans have been urged to get to North London as early as possible.
‘We would like to advise supporters to arrive at the stadium early as delays might be possible if they are travelling through the area,’ a club statement said.
‘Turnstiles will open one and a half hours before kick-off to allow plenty of time for access. There will be full searches and ticket inspections before entry.
‘Fans should be aware that there are no left-luggage facilities at the Emirates.’
