MailOnline Fantasy Football team of the week: Liverpool dominate as Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho shine at Bournemouth

Liverpool's ruthless attacking line led the way this week after their 4-0 thrashing at Bournemouth on Sunday, with the inclusion of a surprise goalscorer in Dejan Lovren.

Jurgen Klopp's side got back to winning ways following their dismal goalless home draw with West Brom earlier in the week with Lovren's first-half header helping them on their way, while Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho terrorised their opposition with goals of their own.

Elsewhere, an Ilkay Gundogan header and a brace from Raheem Sterling saw Manchester City thrash Tottenham 4-1 to stay 11 points clear at the top. Sportsmail has produced the Team of the Week following match day 18.

GK: Mat Ryan -Brighton

1 game, 6 saves, 1 clean sheet = 10 points

It's always a brave move to back a goalkeeper that defends the net of a newly-promoted side, with goals always expected to fly in.

But in Mat Ryan's case, the Brighton goal has been in safe hands shown by their goalless stalemate at home to Premier League high-flyers Burnley, who have found themselves in the hunt for a Champions League place.

Only his sixth clean sheet of the season, but Ryan and his team-mates have maintained the eighth-best defensive record in the league for Chris Hughton's new boys.

DF: Marcos Alonso - Chelsea

1 game, 1 goal, 1 clean sheet = 14 points

As a trusted member of Antonio Conte's defence, the Chelsea wingback's stunning free kick against Southampton on Saturday secured a crucial three points for the Blues as they kept fourth-placed Liverpool at arm's reach.

The Spaniard was a threat throughout, testing Fraser Forster three times in the Saints goal, but was ever-present at the back as the Blues shut their hosts out at Stamford Bridge.

DF: Dejan Lovren - Liverpool

1 game, 1 goal, 1 clean sheet = 14 points

Liverpool's back four has been shaky at times this season to say the least, but Dejan Lovren and Co in Jurgen Klopp's defence were rarely tested by an out-of-form Bournemouth.

A solid display at the back, coupled with a first-half header from the Croatian saw Liverpool into half-time with a two-goal lead, and onto an inevitable 4-0 victory.

DF: Andrew Robertson - Liverpool

1 game, 1 clean sheet = 10 points

Making only his sixth league appearance of the season for Klopp's men on Saturday, Andrew Robertson put in a performance that will sit in the back of his German manager's mind for some time.

His numerous interceptions and blocks were crucial to keeping the Cherries out and consequently put himself forward as a candidate to nail down the vacant left-back position.

MF: Aaron Mooy - Huddersfield

1 game, 2 goals = 14 points

In an encounter that featured two red cards and five goals, it's difficult to stand out among the chaos, but Huddersfield midfield rock Aaron Mooy found a way in their 4-1 riot at Watford.

His brace was far from pretty, but it was effective as Mooy used his thigh to scramble the ball in for his side's second, before blasting a penalty past Heurelho Gomes in stoppage time to leave David Wagner's side 11th.

Ilkay Gundogan headed Manchester City on their way to a 4-1 thrashing over Tottenham

MF: Ilkay Gundogan - Manchester City

1 game, 1 goal = 11 points

It's also hard to shine in Pep Guardiola's currently unbeatable Manchester City outfit, but Gundogan looked almost irreplaceable in the heart of their midfield as they cruised to a 4-1 victory over Tottenham.

Gundogan ghosted into the Spurs box to head in City's opener to get them off to the perfect start.

The German could barely put a foot wrong as he kept each move ticking over and into the more creative feet of Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, whilst keeping the likes of Dele Alli quiet throughout.

MF: Raheem Sterling - Manchester City

1 game, 2 goals = 14 points

After missing an open goal and squandering a handful of chances, luckily for Raheem Sterling, when you play for City, chances are a plenty.

It's true, he could have scored three or four in a scoreline that flattered City's opposition, who were ready to make a quick getaway back to North London by the time Sterling eventually scored.

But his goals were testament to his efforts this season, looking revitalised under Guardiola, and his perseverance eventually earned him his reward.

MF: Philippe Coutinho - Liverpool

1 game, 1 goal, 1 assist, 1 clean sheet = 11 points

Philippe Coutinho's commitment to the Liverpool cause of late cannot be praised enough, which has been second to none.

Yes, he may potentially be playing his way towards a move to Barcelona, but the little Brazilian yet again showed his professionalism as he netted Liverpool's opener on the south coast, before brilliantly curling a cross towards the head of Roberto Firmino to complete the rout.

MF: Manuel Lanzini - West Ham

1 game, 2 assists, 1 clean sheet = 11 points

While Marko Arnautovic stole the headlines on his return to Stoke, Manuel Lanzini was the silent assassin for West Ham, with a hand in all three of their goals.

His dive for Mark Nobles' penalty was not taken well by the home support, nor the FA, who took subsequent action and charged the Hammers forward. But his hand in the two to come would have pleased David Moyes.

A one-two with Arnautovic left the ball on a plate for the former Potter to finish, before making a quick breakaway to feed Diafra Sakho to complete the scoring.

FWD: Laurent Depoitre - Huddersfield

1 game, 1 goal, 1 assist = 13 points

Laurent Deopoitre's assist was far from intentional, as Mooy's shot deflected off his back into the path of Collin Quaner to score the Terriers' opener.

However, his combination of composure and clinical finishing for their third goal and match-settler left Gomes no chance as he helped his side race to a 3-0 lead.

FWD: Roberto Firmino - Liverpool

1 game, 1 goal, 1 clean sheet = 10 points

It seems Firmino really has started to find his feet after a arguably slow start in Merseyside.

Before the Bournemouth defence knew what had hit them, he was past them and had headed in Liverpool's fourth for his 13th goal in all competitions and adding to the ruthless threat that is the Anfield fearless four.
