David Luiz could be set for move away from Chelsea in January following his clash with manager Antonio Conte

Luiz's relationship with the Italian has deteriorated since their 3-0 Champions League defeat to Roma in October, with the defender being outcast from the starting line-up ever since.

The Brazilian has no shortage of suitors should he leave next month though with both Real Madrid and Juventus keen on signing the centre-back.

Italian giants Juventus are considered the front-runners in the pursuit of the charismatic 30-year-old.

The Serie A club have pencilled in Luiz as a replacement for Leonardo Bonucci who shocked everyone with a move to AC Milan in the summer.

However, La Liga champions Real Madrid are also eyeing a potential swoop for the £23million rated man.

Sportsmail previously reported that Zinedine Zidane was interested in the defender who can play both at the back or as a holder midfielder.

It appears a second move away from Chelsea is on the cards for Luiz who has not featured in the Premier League since the game against Roma, playing just once in the Champions League against Qarabag.

Conte has insisted their is no rift between the pair and said injury was behind his absence in recent weeks.

However, the Chelsea boss would seemingly prefer to play with 21-year-old Andreas Christensen instead.

When asked about Luiz's future at the club, the boss said: 'I don't know. Andreas Christensen is the present and the future for Chelsea.'
