  • The Blues boarded their team bus on Friday afternoon the night before the game
  • Antonio Conte's side took part in a full but light training session at Cobham
  • Chelsea can draw level on points with Manchester United if they beat West Ham

Chelsea's players seemed fully focused on the visit to West Ham as they boarded the team bus at their Cobham training ground on Friday afternoon.

Antonio Conte's side take on West Ham in the Premier League's early kick-off on Saturday, with the aim of making it three consecutive victories.

Conte's plan to keep his players fully focused was one of the main reasons why he wanted to get them to the team hotel immediately after training.

The Chelsea boss understands that West Ham, despite their current league position of 19th, have players good enough to cause his side problems.

'It's a bit strange to see them in this position,' Conte said. 'They have a lot of good players with great talent. Also this is a very physical team. For sure they have the potential to do better. I hope not tomorrow, but after our game. I am surprised they have struggled.

'In their last game, I saw Manchester City struggling a lot before they won. It won't be easy. And it's a London derby. We must pay great attention.'

Conte is expecting strong performances again from N'Golo Kante and Eden Hazard. Both players were named in the top 30 of this year's Ballon d'Or.

'Eden is a young player and he has the potential to improve his place in this table,' Conte said. 'At the same time, I like to repeat: you have to win trophies if you want to reach the best. A top player must have this ambition.

'To finish eighth in the Ballon D'Or table for a player like Kante, with these type of characteristics, is not easy,' Conte added of his French midfielder.

'To finish eighth is a great result for N'Golo. I am proud for him. All the people understood the capacity of this player. He is a fantastic player, and for me in his role he is one of the best in the world.'
