GK: Julian Speroni - Crystal Palace - 1 Game, 7 Saves, 1 Clean Sheet = 10 Points

Roy Hodgson's decision to bring back Julian Speroni, who is well loved by the Palace fans, has proven to be a good decision.

The 38-year-old has looked impressive ever since being reinstated and he was on top form again on the weekend, making seven superb saves to help Palace maintain their unbeaten run which also saw them climb off the bottom of the table.

DF: Christian Kabasele - Watford - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Goal Conceded = 8 Points

The Watford defender has hit somewhat of a purple patch in front of goal.

Christian Kabasele had not scored for 15 games, now he has two in his last five. His opening goal against Tottenham was cancelled out by Son Heung-Min as the spoils were shared at Vicarage Road.

DF: Antonio Valencia - Manchester United - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Goal Conceded = 8 Points

Antonio Valencia ensured the points were coming back to Manchester after netting the first goal of the game.

United are unbeaten now in 21 games in which the winger turned full-back has scored in.

Although he couldn't stop Alexandre Lacazette from scoring, Valencia had a solid all-round game and slots into the team of the week with eight points.

DF: Nicolas Otamendi - Manchester City - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Goal Conceded = 8 Points

An unlikely source who sparked a Manchester City revival.

Against all the odds, quite literally, West Ham took the lead at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

The odds were shorter for a City 8-0 win (70/1) than a West Ham 1-0 win (80/1) and some lucky punter would have been quids in if it weren't for Nicolas Otamendi's 57th minute equaliser.

The goal completely crushed the spirit of the Hammers and the game was City's from then on in with David Silva eventually netting the winner. Otamendi's performance saw him return a decent eight points.

MF: Philippe Coutinho - Liverpool - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 3 Assists = 17 Points

Please don't go to Barcelona will be the musings of every Liverpool fan.

Jurgen Klopp's team are heavily dependent on the little Brazilian, who makes them tick and pulls the strings from midfield game after game.

And Philippe Coutinho shined again against Brighton on Saturday. He set up their first three, then the provider turned to goalscorer, adding their fourth before a Lewis Dunk own goal completed the rout.

He notched an eye-watering 17 points from this weekend's fixture, and deservedly slots straight into the midfield with the highest score of the week.

MF: Eden Hazard - Chelsea - 1 Game, 2 Goals = 14 Points

The confidence is sky high and when Eden Hazard is in the groove, there's no stopping him.

His 'Panenka' penalty against Newcastle this weekend illustrates the kind of mood Hazard is currently in.

He also scored the equaliser after Rafa Benitez's side had raced into a surprising early lead at Stamford Bridge.

But Hazard was on hand to deliver a man-of-the-match display to ensure the points stayed with Antonio Conte's side and joins Coutinho in the midfield of Sportsmail's team of the week.

MF: Jesse Lingard - Manchester United - 1 Game, 2 Goals = 14 Points

A man for the big occasion rose to the task yet again.

Jesse Lingard, who has scored in his last three visits to Wembley with United, just has a knack of making an impact in the huge games and done so again on the weekend, this time at the Emirates.

His brace, helped by the brilliance of David de Gea, ensured United got one over their old rivals and remained in touching distance of arch-rivals City in the race for the title.

MF: David Silva - Manchester City - 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

David Silva has found a new lease of life under Pep Guardiola.

At 31-years-old the Spaniard has put in a string of magnificent performances recently and looks the best he ever has.

Silva produced the goods again this weekend, hitting the winner against West Ham in the 82nd minute to extend City's incredible Premier League wining streak to 13 games.

MF: Son Heung-Min - Tottenham - 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

When Harry Kane is misfiring it's a good thing Tottenham have Son Heung-Min to turn to.

The South Korea international netted the equaliser to earn a draw against Watford on what was yet another disappointing afternoon for Mauricio Pochettino's men.

His strike saw him earn eight points which was enough for him to clinch a spot in the team of the week.

FWD: Roberto Firmino - Liverpool - 1 Game, 2 Goals = 12 Points

Roberto Firmino was at the double again this weekend.

The Brazilian forward scored his third brace of the season in Liverpool's emphatic victory over Brighton, firing them back into the top four.

Firmino had experienced a goal drought earlier on in the season but is back to scoring regularly and slots in up top after bagging 12 points.

FWD: Dominic Calvert-Lewin - Everton - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Assist = 10 Points

Dominic Calvert-Lewin was the best player on the pitch against Huddersfield as Everton continue to make strides in the right direction.

The 20-year-old first set up Gylfi Sigurdsson to score the opener before Wayne Rooney's delicious pass released him to slot past Jonas Lossl.

His performance sees him lead the line in our team of the week alongside Firmino after netting a phenomenal 10 points.
