Bryan Robson has urged Jose Mourinho's Manchester United to emulate the great teams of Sir Alex Ferguson and 'stick with' Premier League pace-setters Manchester City in the title race.
Pep Guardiola's City have looked unstoppable so far, dropping just two points from their opening 13 league matches to establish an eight-point lead over United at the summit.
They have also racked up 42 goals compared to the 28 mustered by Mourinho's United and are showing few signs they can be beaten.

But Old Trafford legend Robson hasn't completely ruled United out of the title race and urged them to continue putting pressure on City.
United head to Watford in the Premier League on Tuesday night, while City host Southampton 24 hours later.
Speaking at Football Writers Association North West Football Awards, Robson said: 'It's a long hard season, you know. United have had a good season so far under Jose.

'They've put themselves in a good position but City are flying, there's no getting away from that.
'But what you always have to do - Sir Alex Ferguson always used to say this to us when I was a player under him - look they're going really well, just stick with them and be as close as you can be when it comes to Christmas or New Year.
'See how many injuries people get, loss of form, so as long as you're close enough to them to give them a fight, and put pressure on them that's what it's all about.'
