- Reading tweeted the squad from their record breaking Championship season
On Wednesday, a number of football clubs did the double, but not in the traditional sense.
Twitter introduced a new rule, allowing for twice the usual 140 characters in every post on the social media website.
And a number of sides around the world have taken advantage of the update to Twitter, using it to entertain their followers by referring to great moments or generally have a laugh.

Benfica were also keen to show off the number of trophies they have won throughout history
Manchester City got the ball rolling by hearkening back to one of the most famous days in the club's history. They published a video of Sergio Aguero's goal against Queens Park Rangers, but it was the text around the tweet that really sold it.
Alongside the video they wrote: '280 characters means we can now go... AGUEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO', referring to Martin Tyler's commentary for the goal.
City easily had the best post. Even so, others got involved. Borussia Monchengladbach wrote: 'Our club name can finally be expressed in its full glory. Yours sincerely, Borussia Verein für Leibesübungen 1900 Mönchengladbach e.V.'
AC Milan were another club who took advantage of the change to show off about their past
Aston Villa went for a slightly more questionable usage of the 280 character limit
Manchester United engaged in some cringe-worthy banter around the #DaveSaves hashtag
Manchester United were slightly more cringe-worthy with their tweet, suggesting that their hashtag #DaveSaves would be expanded to #DavidSaves.
Reading listed off the team that set the record for the most Championship points in the 2005-06 campaign.
A number of clubs took the opportunity to show off their staggering trophy haul, including Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Benfica.
Brentford, bizarrely, simply tweeted: 'So what should we do with all these extra characters?', prompting their fans to suggest they should sell them to Birmingham, as they did with three of their players in the last week of the transfer window.
