Morata and de Gea faced each other at Stamford Bridge when Chelsea edged out Jose Mourinho's Manchester United side on Sunday.

But their attentions have now quickly turned to Spain as they gear up for friendlies against Costa Rica and World Cup hosts Russia.

Boss Julen Lopetegui looked over the session at the Ciudad del Futbol training facilities in Las Rozas on Tuesday with a watchful eye.

Defenders Sergio Ramos and Gerard Pique have clearly put their past squabble completely to bed as they trained alongside each other.

Spain were perfect in World Cup qualifying and won every Group G game apart from an away draw against Italy.

With their place already booked for next year's competition in Russia Lopetegui will be eager to finish the year on a high by claiming two victories.

They will face Costa Rica at the La Rosaleda Stadium on Saturday before making the trip to Russia three days' later for their final match of the year.
