Jamie Vardy may be preparing to go toe-to-toe with two of the best international football teams on the planet, but it would appear he is having to juggle that while also completing his fatherly duties.

The England international is expected to feature in upcoming friendly matches with Germany and Brazil, and will need to impress manager Gareth Southgate to keep his hopes of making it to the World Cup alive.

But before he can think about that, he needs to make sure baby son Finley Jainden is well taken care of.

His wife, Becky, appeared to post a screenshot from their home's CCTV system, which showed Vardy feeding their 11-month old son while wearing his England tracksuit.

The photo came complete with the caption: 'When I have to leave early I can still watch them! Best thing ever ❤️ #hesamazing.'

Later this week, Vardy will make the short trip to St George's Park in Staffordshire to link up with the England squad.

Southgate will be hoping to get a firmer idea of the players he wants to take to Russia for next year's World Cup when they welcome world champions Germany on Friday and Brazil next week.

Vardy started the last time England played Germany, but was substituted after 69 minutes in the 1-0 defeat. He was, however, the hero a year earlier as he scored the equalising goal in a surprise 3-2 win in Berlin.
