Lionel Messi has been snapped getting into a London black cab with former Barcelona team-mate Cesc Fabregas in the wake of his FIFA Awards disappointment.
The Barcelona forward was pictured in the capital on Thursday leaving a restaurant with his former Catalan team-mate Cesc Fabregas, accompanied by their wives.
The Argentine was recovering from Monday night's disappointment which saw him miss out on the FIFA best player of the year award to Cristiano Ronaldo, while Fabregas appeared as a Blues substitute in Wednesday's Carabao Cup win over Everton.

The Spaniard played just 28 minutes at Stamford Bridge, as Antonio Conte looks ahead to a trip to Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
Messi, who missed Barcelona's 3-0 Copa del Rey victory over Murcia on Tuesday night, was announced as part of the FIFA world team of the year at the football governing body's annual awards ceremony hosted by the London Palladium.

It was Messi's, as well as Cristiano Ronaldo's, 11th consecutive appearance in a FIFA world XI, which featured Neymar, Manuel Neuer, Sergio Ramos and Luka Modric among others.
However, to Messi's disappointment, he was pipped to the Player of the Year award by his El Classico rival Ronaldo, who claimed the prize for the second year running.
Despite this though, it was Messi who was the most popular vote for his selection in the world XI by 26,622 players from 71 countries - organised by FIFPro, the world’s player union.
