Google Maps prank sees Anfield show up when term 'gobs***es' is searched
- Google Maps can be edited using its crowdsourcing feature
- A prankster - likely to be an Everton fan - has taken aim at Liverpool
- Previous embarrassments involve Manchester United and Tottenham
Pranksters have edited Google Maps to ensure the location of Anfield comes up when 'gobs***es' is typed into its search engine.
No Everton fan has come forward to take responsibility for the edit but the blue half of Liverpool will no doubt be revelling in the news.
Liverpool are derogatorily referred to as 'gobs***es' by fans of their Merseyside rivals.

Searching the word will also bring up a picture of Liverpool's famous old stadium
Google Maps, created in 2005, uses a crowdsourcing feature to improve its accuracy and the edit seems to have been made using it.
Google have been made aware of the issue and are looking it.
It is not the first time their mapping system has been hijacked by fans looking to stoke English football rivalries.
Liverpool celebrate their third goal in a 3-1 win on their last visit to Everton back in April
The crowdsourcing feature was only brought in in March as Google's Map Maker tool had been compromised several times.
In 2015 Old Trafford, endearing known as the 'Theatre of Dreams' to Manchester United fans, would come up if a user searched 'Theatre of S***e'.
In the same year, anyone who searched 'The S***hole' would be given directions to Tottenham's White Hart Lane ground.
