Hatem Ben Arfa is weighing up a return to England in January.

The skillful Paris Saint-Germain winger was told he could leave the club in the summer but refused, with his lawyer threatening to take legal action when he was asked to train with the second string.

The 30-year-old former Newcastle United and Hull City player relaunched his career in France after starring for Nice in 2015-16, scoring 18 often spectacular goals in 37 games.

PSG moved to sign him the following season and he won the Ligue 1 and French Cup. But he's been squeezed out this summer following the arrival of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Ben Arfa, hailed as one the 'most talented players in France', is now contemplating a return to the Premier League to get his playing career back on track.

PSG are understood to be willing to let him leave on a free transfer and that has alerted a number of Premier League sides who are willing to gamble on Ben Arfa's talent.
