Alexandre Lacazette has revealed he passed up on the chance to join the Neymar revolution at Paris Saint-Germain this summer in favour of a switch to Arsenal.
The France international admitted he held talks with the Ligue 1 club in the summer, and could have been lining up alongside the Brazilian and Kylian Mbappe in the Champions League this term.
Instead, the 26-year-old opted for a move to the Premier League and signed a five-year deal with Arsene Wenger's side, who were consigned to Europa League football for the first time in 20 years.

However, Lacazette insists he has no regrets over his decision, saying his roots with French club Lyon would have made any move to another French club difficult.
'We talked to PSG but I knew it was not where I wanted to go. In France, I would only play for Lyon,' Lacazette told RMC Sport.
'PSG could have helped me progress because of the big players they have but I wanted to play in another league.'
Lacazette has started life brightly in north London, netting four times in his first seven league appearances for the Gunners.
Arsenal, though, are already six points off the pace in the Premier League title race after the ferocious starts made by both Manchester United and Manchester City.

The Frenchman believes his new club are still well and truly in the hunt, however, and having started well in the Europa League too, with two wins from two, he insists they can compete for the top prizes.
'I believe in the title, whether in the Premier League or in the Europa League,' Lacazette added.
'We have a big group, everyone gets along, it's not always the best that wins.'
