Chelsea's Spanish duo Alvaro Morata and Cesar Azpilicueta are the Premier League's most deadly duo with Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan hot on their tails in the link-up charts
- Alvaro Morata has enjoyed a blistering start to life in a Chelsea shirt
- The Spanish striker has scored six Premier League goals already for his new club
- Four of the six have been provided by his compatriot Cesar Azpilicueta
- Their closest rivals come in the form of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Romelu Lukaku
- Danny Welbeck and Sead Kolasinac come as another surprise link-up pairing
Alvaro Morata has been enjoying a blistering start to life in a Chelsea shirt, stepping out of the shadow of the departed Diego Costa to smash home six goals already for his new club.
The ex-Real Madrid and Juventus hitman now forms the focal point of the Blues attack, and has been repaying the trust of manager Antonio Conte handsomely with goals.
Morata has one of the most unlikely sources to credit for his success however - the pinpoint precision of Cezar Azpilicueta and the defender's uncanny ability to keep continuously picking him out.
Alvaro Morata has been lethal for Chelsea, but owes credit to compatriot Cezar Azpilicueta
The Spanish duo have linked up for four of Morata's six goals for the Blues so far this season
Of Morata's six goals so far in the blue of Chelsea, four have come as a result of an assist provided by his Spanish compatriot Azpilicueta.
The fleet footed defender has established a knack of capitalising upon his attacking capabilities and driving forward in order to pick out the club's new target man.
Morata bagged a sublime hat-trick in Chelsea's recent trip to Stoke, with his ever reliable team-mate pitching it with his efforts.
It took just two minutes for Azpilicueta to pick out Morata with a long range ball, splitting the Stoke defence in half and playing the striker through on goal.
Morata added a second of his own accord but it was Azpilicueta again who would help him complete his hat-trick, chesting down the ball inside the area for the 24-year-old to lash home in the dying moments.
Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are the closest rivals to the duo
The closest challenge to the Blues duo's status of Premier League's most deadly comes from Manchester United pairing Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Romelu Lukaku.
The Red Devils twosome have currently created three goals between them, though have each featured together on the field for 494 minutes - as opposed to the 457 minutes of which Morata and Azpilicueta have shared the pitch.
