Watford boss Marco Silva refuses to dwell on 6-0 Man City thrashing and thinks games against Premier League's lesser sides will define his season
- Watford were beaten 6-0 at home by Man City in the Premier League last week
- But Hornets manager Marco Silva is remaining positive about his side's season
- Despite the big defeat, Watford have a respectable eight points from five games
- They visit Swansea City, who are three points worse off, on Saturday afternoon
- Silva thinks that games against teams of similar stature to his own will be crucial
- The Portuguese also said: 'We need to continue doing what we did well before'
Marco Silva feels Watford's season will be defined by the results they achieve against teams like Swansea rather than the odd hammering at the hands of a Premier League giant.
The Hornets head to Wales seeking a response following the 6-0 home mauling by Manchester City last weekend.
Silva's side, though, are not the only team to have been steamrollered by the free-scoring Blues, while title rivals Manchester United have also been 4-0 winners three times already in their opening five matches.

Watford opened up with an unbeaten run of four games in a solid start for Silva, which included a battling 3-3 home draw with Liverpool followed by wins at Bournemouth and Southampton.
Silva intends to focus on reproducing those positive performances rather than revisiting the heavy loss to City.
'We need to continue doing what we did well before (last weekend's defeat),' he said. 'We analysed the first five matches and we have achieved good results against teams fighting with us, but we will see what happens in the future.
'It is important to us that we play our game, with our ideas and philosophy and try to achieve good results.
'If it is against teams competing for the same goal with you, it is better if you achieve good results.'
Miguel Britos is still serving a three-match ban, while Younes Kaboul and Sebastian Prodl may not be back in contention from their injury lay-offs until after the international break.
And he remains pleased with his team's overall start this season - eight points in five games
