If anyone was in any doubt regarding Brazil’s mentality going into their World Cup qualifier against Colombia on Tuesday – having already qualified – there certainly isn’t any now.

Brazil team-mates Neymar and Philippe Coutinho are prime examples of the positivity flowing through the Brazil camp right now, as they appear to have been spending more time recently clowning around than preparing for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Brazil became the first team to qualify for the World Cup, to be held by Russia next summer, back in March following a 3-0 victory over Paraguay.

Since then, they have hit the Australians for four in a friendly, as well as a 2-0 dousing of Ecuador on Friday, in which Coutinho bagged himself a brace.

Fresh from what must have been a very disappointing transfer window, which saw the Liverpool forward hunted by Spanish giants Barcelona but eventually remain at Anfield, Countinho's worries appear to be a thing of the not so distant past as he enjoys some time with Neymar and Brazil’s brilliantly named mascot, Canarinho.

Recent posts from Brazil’s official Twitter account show the pair teasing the Brazil mascot at an open training session in Colombia.

In the image, Neymar, who was not one without controversy this summer after he forced a world-record move away from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain which Sportsmail reported was worth £198million, perches behind the mascot as Coutinho shoves the poor chap head over heels onto the turf in front of a watching crowd.

Head over heels was exactly how the Brazil fans have been recently, with their side crushing their opposition in South America's qualifying group, having lost just once in 15 games.

With Argentina's World Cup hopes also in jeopardy, the Brazilian faithful will be on cloud nine. But despite their good fortunes of late, it will important for the five-time world champions to recover their focus with Russia 2018 just around the corner.

But it's safe to say, they look relaxed.
