SIMON JONES AND GLEN WILLIAMS: Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has arrived in Turkey ahead of his move to Turkish side Antalyaspor.

The France international touched down in Turkey to discuss terms with the Super Lig side on Sunday as he nears the exit door at the Etihad Stadium.

Nasri has fallen out of favour with the club and some of his team-mates but still has two years left on contract.

GLEN WILLIAMS: Andres Iniesta has revealed he is yet to put pen to paper on a new contract at Barcelona and hinted his thought process on staying at the Nou Camp has shifted in recent years.

The midfield stalwart, whose contract expires next summer, is a product of the famed La Masia academy in Catalonia, joining at just 12 years of age on the brink of one of the club's most successful periods.

And it is, perhaps, not a coincidence that Barca embarked on a period of such prolific success after Iniesta's arrival.

Arsenal must sell before they buy says Arsene Wenger, after admitting a 33-man squad is 'not manageable'

Arsene Wenger wants to slim down his Arsenal squad before making any further additions.

Some of the north London club's shortcomings, particularly defensively, were exposed as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at Stoke in the Premier League on Saturday.

Gunners manager Wenger has not ruled out more signings before the transfer window closes at the end of the month, but his immediate priority is to move out unwanted players.

WILL GRIFFEE: Eden Hazard has been keeping busy during his spell on the sidelines by making key decisions for NASL team San Diego.

The Chelsea star is in a WhatsApp group with fellow co-owners Demba Ba, Yohan Cabaye and Moussa Sow  to keep updated with all the day-to-day goings on in California.

Despite the fact that the partners are still engaged with playing commitments, Director of Football Ricardo Campos insists the four men are 'fully involved'.

ROBERT SUMMERSCALES: Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti has admitted that Chelsea could make a move for versatile Italy star Antonio Candreva before the transfer window closes.

Chelsea have already spent in excess of £141million on signings this summer, but manager Antonio Conte is not yet happy with the size of his squad.

Conte wants more options and 47-time Italy international Candreva, who can play in multiple positions, is seen as a suitable candidate.

ROBERT SUMMERSCALES: Tottenham Hotspur will make another three signings before the transfer window closes, according to former midfielder Graham Roberts.

Club-record buy Davinson Sanchez, who arrived for £42million from Ajax earlier this week, is Tottenham's only new recruit so far this summer.

But Roberts told talkSPORT on Saturday that at least three more players will join the club in the next seven days.

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish cannot understand how some football clubs are adhering to financial fair play rules given the number of large transfer deals.

Numerous Premier League clubs have broken their transfer records this summer, with multi-million figures becoming the norm and fees regularly surpassing £20million.

Financial fair play is linked to the revenue of clubs and designed to limit losses and control spending.

JOE BERNSTEIN: Manchester United consider it increasingly likely they will re-sign injured centre-forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a deal could be completed as early as this month.

Ibrahimovic, 35, is out until the new year with a serious knee ligament injury which he suffered during United's Europa League tie with Anderlecht last April, but manager Jose Mourinho is keen to have him enlisted for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Despite finishing sixth in the Premier League last season, Mourinho's team became the fifth English club last season to qualify for the Champions League after beating Ajax 2-0 in the Europa League final in May.

Tony Pulis insists West Brom will learn from previous transfer errors by prioritising quality over quantity in the final days of this window.

The Baggies have won back-to-back games at the start of a Premier League season for the first time in their history, but Pulis' focus is now on bolstering his squad before September arrives.

Having signed Jay Rodriguez, Ahmed Hegazi and Gareth Barry - all of whom featured in Saturday's 1-0 win at Burnley - Pulis wants more additions.

DANNY GALLAGHER: Barcelona are poised to trigger the £36million (€40m) release clause of Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri, with the aim of having the Ivorian at the Nou Camp by early next week.

The Spanish giants are seeking reinforcements to their midfield ahead of a busy 2017-18 campaign.

Barca are still reeling from the loss of Neymar, yet have heavily inflated coffers with which to delve into the transfer market and add quality to their squad before the window slams shut in two week's time.

ROB DRAPER: Newcastle United expect to tie up the signing of Kenedy from Chelsea this week — but will have to wait until the end of the month to see whether the Blues will allow Michy Batshuayi to go out on loan.

Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo needs to find cover before allowing players to leave, though he seems prepared to do a deal on the Brazilian left back, who was sent home from the club's Far East tour for making insulting comments about China.

Batshuayi's wages would be far too much for Newcastle so he could only be a prospect if Chelsea sign cover — Fernando Llorente is a target — and if the champions pay part of his salary.

SIMON JONES: West Ham, West Bromwich Albion and Burnley are showing keen interest in Lorient forward Abdul Majeed Waris.

The pacy Ghana international is rated at £12m by Lorient and the Premier League trio have all made enquiries in the past week.

The 25-year-old, who can operate as a winger or striker, first came to England as a 17-year-old to study at Hartpury College and the Nike academy and had trials with Manchester City.

SIMON JONES: Leeds United are weighing up a move for Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes as they prepare to sell Chris Wood to Burnley.

Wolves are leading the chase for Rhodes who is available despite figuring in Wednesday's opening games of the season.

The Molineux club hope to sign the 27-year-old Scotland international on loan as they keep an eye on financial fair play guidelines.

JOE BERNSTEIN: Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer is hoping for plenty of transfer activity in the final fortnight of the window after his side's poor start to the season leaves them without a point or a goal in two games.

Palace's 1-0 defeat at Liverpool represented a big improvement on a 3-0 home defeat against Huddersfield the previous weekend, but de Boer would still like more players at the club and could be prepared to listen to offers for Leicester City and Newcastle target Andros Townsend, James Tomkins and Martin Kelly to make space available.

He is also resisting attempts to break the bank for Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho who became a cult hero at Selhurst Park last season under Sam Allardyce. De Boer doesn't believe Sakho's style would suit the footballing philosophy he is trying to introduce at Selhurst Park.
