Chelsea manager Antonio Conte could find job at risk unless Premier League champions make more signings
- Antonio Conte had a new tracksuit v Burnley, but he needs new players instead
- This summer he took his eye off the ball and everything at Chelsea is imploding
- Conte was also let down by players with Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas sent off
Antonio Conte sported a tracksuit rather than his usual suit when he took to the touchline against Burnley. He doesn't need to change the way he dresses. He needs a change of personnel.
The manager did not put a foot wrong as Chelsea won the title. He played a blinder in managing Diego Costa when the striker wanted to leave the club in January, keeping things around the camp calm.
This summer he has taken his eye off the ball and - as Saturday's defeat showed - everything is imploding around him.

Conte was also let down by senior players, with Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas sent off
Conte wants complete control at the club. He has tried to send a message to the board that he needs better players by letting more than 20 leave but in doing so, Conte has left his squad desperately short.
He is losing his cool and cannot seem to control his players. It really does not bode well when two senior players get sent off in the first game of the season.
We can debate whether Gary Cahill's challenge on Steven Defour warranted a red card but the defender did not protest.
Conte was brilliant last year, handling Diego Costa well, but now it has all gone very wrong
When things are going wrong, you need experienced players to keep their heads but Cesc Fabregas acted idiotically when Chelsea had got themselves back in the game.
Now an already threadbare squad will be without these two players when Chelsea face Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday.
Conte desperately needs more players in the next couple of weeks. If he does not get them, there could well be a change of manager at Stamford Bridge.
