Jurgen Klopp has emphatically underlined his stance that Liverpool will not sell Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona after rejecting a £90m bid for the Brazil midfielder.
The news comes as Coutinho arrived at the club's training base on Thursday having not trained all week because of a back complaint.
The Reds boss is adamant that Liverpool do not even have a figure in mind that would mean they consider selling Coutinho, who signed a new five-year contract at Anfield in January.

'Liverpool is not a club that has to sell players,' Klopp told Sky Germany. 'That is set in stone. So what they pay in the end doesn't matter.
'From a financial standpoint, there is no price limit to let him go or a price that we are ready to give in.
'Our goal is to have the best possible team. So we want to keep our guys and add new ones. That is our plan.'
The German accepted that the modern transfer market makes it harder to hold on to players who of interest to other clubs but believes that if Coutinho did leave Anfield before the end of the window, he would not have enough time to replace him.

'Today no player on the planet is untouchable. But a transfer is also a question of timing and if you have the opportunity and the need to react to such a transfer.
'Also you have to ask, if you have the time to react. But just because of one request of one club, we don't have to think about that. We are not in that situation.'
Coutinho is an injury doubt for Liverpool's first match of the Premier League season on Saturday against Watford with a back injury.
But he was named in Liverpool's Champions League squad for the qualifier against Hoffenheim, of which the first leg is in Germany on Tuesday.
