Borussia Dortmund have confirmed they are holding 'final talks' with midfielder Emre Mor with Inter Milan favourites to secure his signature.

The 20-year-old has attracted Premier League interest with Liverpool and Everton pursuing, but it is the San Siro side who are leading the race with a loan move likely to be confirmed in the coming days.

It was announced on Dortmund's Twitter that Mor has been excused from their first-team photoshoot in order to finalise his move to the Italian side.

'Emre Mor is missing from the shooting of the team photo,' Dortmund tweeted on Wednesday. 'He has been freed for final talks on his future.'

Mor joined the German side in the 2016 summer transfer window from Danish outfit Nordsjaelland and has earned 12 caps for Turkey, scoring once.

But he has been reduced to limited first-team opportunities and has only featured 12 times for Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

The inexorable rise of American superstar Christian Pulisic and the arrival of Maximilian Philipp from SC Freiburg has meant Mor has found himself surplus to requirements ahead of the new season.

Inter still have some hurdles to overcome to finalise a deal for him but their technical director Walter Sabatini confirmed this week negotiations are ongoing and he is confident a deal can be struck.

'There have been a few complications for Emre Mor, but the week is still young,' he told Sky Sport Italia on Monday.

Inter have not been as active in the transfer window as their arch-rivals AC Milan, but Mor will become their fifth major signing of the summer after the finishing touches are applied to Dalbert's proposed £18million move from Nice in addition to the arrivals of Milan Skriniar, Borja Valero and Matias Vecino.
