Timothy Fosu-Mensah will join Crystal Palace on a season-long loan from Manchester United
The 19-year-old has been allowed to leave on a temporary basis to gain first-team experience
The impending signing of Fosu-Mensah will be seen as a coup given the Dutchman's rising stock at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho felt the 19-year-old - who recently signed a new contract at United - needs to gain maturity by playing on a weekly basis.
And the Palace switch looks set to be sealed soon with Fosu-Mensah ready for a medical at Selhurst Park.
He can play wide but De Boer may also use Fosu-Mensah centrally if Palace operate with three at the back.
Fosu-Mensah will have a medical with Palace on Monday ahead of completing his loan deal
