Hull are plotting a permanent swoop for Bournemouth midfielder Marc Wilson.

The Republic of Ireland international looks set to leave the south coast this summer and the Tigers are ready to make a firm move for the 29-year-old.

Having joined Bournemouth at the start of last season, Wilson found himself on the peripheries of the first-team and was loaned out to West Brom in January, where he made four appearances.

And with the World Cup on the horizon, a regular football elsewhere is likely to suit Wilson.
