UEFA have hit Manchester United defender Eric Bailly with an extended three-match ban for his sending off in the Europa League semi-final against Celta Vigo in May.
Bailly missed the final as a result and will now be suspended for the European Super Cup against Real Madrid in Macedonia on August 8 and United's first Champions League group game.
Bailly was shown a straight red card by Romanian referee Ovidiu Hategan for lashing out at Celta striker John Guidetti during a late fracas at Old Trafford.

The Ivory Coast international then confronted Facundo Roncaglia who was also sent off.
It's understood that Bailly and Roncaglia had to be separated as they went down the tunnel, and this was taken into consideration by UEFA when they decided to extend the ban.
United face Champions League winner Real Madrid on August 8 in Skopje, Macedonia.
The Champions League group stage begins in September, and United will know their first opponent when the draw is made in Monaco on August 24.
