The unsettled Chilean had been making the most of his remaining summer holiday by boarding a private jet with his family earlier this week.

The wantaway Chilean's future is very much up in the air, with Sanchez being constantly linked with a move away from the Emirates.

Sanchez had taken to the skies with his close family members - and his dogs Atom and Humber - and looked to be in good spirits, despite boss Wenger recently insisting he must remain with the club and fire them back among Europe's elite.

Sanchez has made it clear he wants to challenge for the Premier League title while also attempting to add a Champions League winners medal to his collection - with a host of teams including Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG linked with his services.

The unsettled forward who at times last season had a fractious relationship with boss Wenger is coveted by former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola.

However, Wenger has given his clearest indication yet that he will not sell his talisman as he ordered Sanchez to fire Arsenal back into the Champions League.

He said: 'We have played for 20 years in the Champions League - that's 17 years before Sanchez arrived and three years with him. So he can get us back in there.

'The decision has been made and we will stick to that. The decision is not to sell.'

Sanchez has rejected Arsenal's offer of a new contract worth £275,000-a-week, plus an extra 20 per cent if they qualify for the Champions League next season.
