Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has announced his side will not be signing Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez, because a deal 'makes no sense'.
The Bundesliga champions had made Sanchez a top target but were left frustrated by the Chilean's wage demands and eventually cooled their interest.
Bayern have since added three attacking players this summer with the signings of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid, ex-Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman, who made his loan from Juventus permanent.

And Rummenigge says he and Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti are not interested in signing another forward having withdrawn from any potential deal for Sanchez.
Speaking before Bayern's squad flew to China for their pre-season tour, Rummenigge said: 'I don't know what [Sanchez] has said but we are no longer involved.
'We are in agreement with the coach [Carlo Ancelotti] and we won't be doing another deal for an attacker. That makes no sense.'
Sanchez has informed Arsenal he could leave for Champions League football after the Gunners failed to qualify for Europe's elite competition.

The Chilean has just one year remaining on his current contract and talks over an extension has reached a stalemate with Sanchez demanding £300,000 a week.
Sanchez is prepared to force his way out of the Emirates with Manchester City among the interested parties but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said he remains confident the 28-year-old will stay.
Arsenal's squad are currently on a pre-season tour of China where they will play two matches - Sanchez is not present having been given an extended summer break after competing for Chile in the Confederations Cup.
Bayern and Arsenal will face each other in the International Champions tournament on Wednesday at the Shanghai Stadium.
