Sam Johnstone rejoins Aston Villa on loan as Manchester United goalkeeper leaves Old Trafford for TENTH time

- The 24-year-old returns to Aston Villa after a successful spell last season
- Johnstone is now on his 10th loan from Old Trafford, across various divisions
- Keeper says he is delighted to be back, and is looking forward to 'special season'
Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone has joined Aston Villa on a season-long loan.
Johnstone, 24, returns to Villa having made 22 appearances for the Sky Bet Championship club following an initial loan switch from United in January.
'I am delighted to be back,' former England Under-20 international Johnstone told the official Villa website.

'I really enjoyed my last spell here - it's a great club with top players and passionate fans.
'I can't wait to get started now.
'I believe it can be a special season for all of us and I will be working hard each and every day to produce the kind of performances that will help us achieve what we're aiming for.'
Johnstone has been on a number of different loans away from Manchester United, beginning back in 2011 with Oldham Athletic.
Since then, he has been to Scunthorpe, Walsall and Yeovil, as well as two spells at both Doncaster and Preston.
Next season, he will challenge Jed Steer and Mark Bunn for the No 1 spot.
