Inter Milan have entered the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic, according to reports in Italy.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claim the Nerrazzurri are favourites to sign the Serbia international after a potential move to Manchester United fell through.
Matic had been promised to the Red Devils this summer according to the reports, but Romelu Lukaku's move to Old Trafford has soured the relationship between Chelsea and United.

The Serbia international made 40 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea last season
The Blues were keen to re-sign their former striker from Everton before United snapped him up for £75m on Monday.
Inter are now in pole position to sign Matic, who has made 151 appearances for Chelsea in his second spell at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea want at least £35m for Matic, who re-joined the Blues in a £21m deal in 2014 after leaving for Benfica three years earlier.
Corriere dello Sport claim Manchester United had first option to buy Matic this summer
However, Romelu Lukaku's move to Old Trafford has scuppered any potential deal
Inter's technical director Walter Sabatini is keen to finalise a deal for Matic, although the Italian club are also monitoring a number of other defensive midfielders should a move fail to materialise.
Sevilla's Steven N'Zonzi is also being considered while Fiorentino star Matías Vecino remains another option.
