Bastian Schweinsteiger was back in the United Kingdom on Wednesday night as the former Manchester United midfielder whisked wife Ana Ivanovic to a swanky event in London.
Now of MLS side Chicago Fire, Schweinsteiger and the former tennis star were seen walking down St James's Square following a dinner hosted by master watchmakers Rolex.
The event, taking place in one of London's most exclusive locations, was also attended by former England captain David Beckham and his eldest son Brooklyn.

And it seems Schweinsteiger may have made a significant purchase as he emerged from the venue with a dark green bag, the colour synonymous with Rolex's brand. Of course, as a worldwide celebrity, he may well have got whatever was in there for free.
Meanwhile, Chicago Fire fans may be wondering exactly why their designated player was on the other side of the Atlantic at a time when his team-mates were playing the Portland Timbers.
The couple were in London for a fleeting visit before returning to Chicago
Schweinsteiger was excused from duty after being ruled out of the tie with a slight hip injury and, as footballers do, he took full advantage of his time off.
The 32-year-old will be expected back in the Windy City sometime soon, where the Fire are continuing their fight for the Eastern Conference title.
Their 2-2 draw with Portland was certainly a blow, allowing Toronto FC to join them at the top of the table on 38 points and they will be hoping to welcome the World Cup winner back sooner rather than later.
Schweinsteiger has played 15 games for Chicago since joining in January, scoring two goals and providing five assists so far.
