Jens Lehmann is in the pipeline for a third spell at Arsenal, this time as their goalkeeping coach.
The former Germany international will re-join the north London outfit with his new role also including more responsibility than overseeing the displays of Petr Cech, David Ospina and Emiliano Martinez.
Lehmann can be expected to help advise Arsene Wenger too, by augmenting the coaching staff in a general role with the first team.

Gerry Peyton, goalkeeping coach since 2003 is staying on with a new deal and will work alongside Lehmann.
The impending move is the latest change Wenger has made to his backroom staff at the Emirates. as the club look to bounce back from a fifth-place Premier League finish last season.
Arsenal have recently added Australian fitness expert, Darren Burgess as director of high performance - while more changes could be made.

The 47-year-old Lehmann joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in July 2003 and made 200 first-team appearances for the Gunners.
He was a member of the unbeaten 'Invincibles' team in the 2003-04 season, when Arsenal last won the Premier League title.
He left the Gunners at the end of the 2007-08 season, but returned for a three-month spell in March 2011 as injury cover for Wojciech Szczesny, Lukasz Fabianski and Vito Mannone - making one further appearance.
