Manchester United sign 16-year-old striker Largie Ramazani from Charlton

Manchester United have signed teenage Belgian striker Largie Ramazani.

Ramazani was born in Burundi but began his youth career in Anderlecht’s academy before he moved to Charlton Athletic.

The 16-year-old arrived at United's Carrington training complex on Monday to begin pre-season testing.


It is understood that Ramazani has joined the club on a four-year deal after impressing scouts. 

Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur tweeted a picture of Ramazani holding up a United shirt after making the move.  

United continue to strengthen their youth resources and the Belgian joins fellow new-comers Aliou Badara Traore and Ethan Galbraith. 

Traore made the move from PSG and signed a four-year deal, whilst Northern Irishman Galbraith put pen to paper on a three-year contract.

United will be hoping their business in the junior ranks can be replicated in Jose Mourinho's first team. 

The Portuguese is understood to have identified a number of high profile targets and is in pursuit of a world class striker. 

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata appears to be Mourinho's first choice and United will be keen to bolster their squad in time for a full pre-season.
