Darmian is due to return to Manchester United in the coming days before the club sets off for a pre-season tour of the United States on July 9.

The Italian full-back has struggled to cement a place in the first-team under Jose Mourinho and speculation continues to surround his Old Trafford future, with Inter Milan and Juventus both linked with the defender.
Darmian is expected to be part of the United squad that takes part in the tour of the States.
The Red Devils will face La Galaxy and Real Salt Lake in friendlies before taking on cross-city rivals Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona in their remaining games.
