Manchester United are close to agreeing a deal with £45m for Inter Milan forward Ivan Perisic, according to Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Jose Mourinho has stepped up his bid to bolster United's attacking options after long-term target Antoine Griezmann appeared to reaffirm his allegiance to Atletico on Thursday.
Upon the news of Atletico's transfer ban being upheld, the Frenchman shared a picture of himself on Twitter in an Atletico shirt, alongside the caption: 'Now more than ever #Atleti #AllTogether.'

And the Italian club need to sell in order to balance the books and stay in accordance with FIFA's Financial Fair Play laws.
Gazzetta also report that personal terms between the player and United have already been agreed — leaving the asking price the only remaining negotiation between the two clubs.
