Chris Brunt has warned Chelsea that West Brom will be no pushovers when Antonio Conte's men attempt to clinch the Premier League title at the Hawthorns on Friday.
A win for the visitors will see them lift the trophy with two games to play after an impressive season.
But Brunt wants the Baggies to sign off their home campaign with a victory that would keep the title race alive.
Chris Brunt wants West Brom to delay Chelsea's procession to the title on Friday
'We can't just roll over and let them get the result they need to win the league,' the 32-year-old said.
'They won't get an easy game when they come to The Hawthorns.'
West Brom have struggled of late but remain in a creditable eighth place.
And Northern Ireland international Brunt believes they can cement that position and keep the west London champagne on ice.
Antonio Conte's men can seal the league title with two games to spare at the Hawthorns
'We've done reasonably well at home, so it would be nice to go out and get a result against them if we can,' he added.
'We've worked hard to get where we are. The size of club we are, if we can keep doing that, it's a fantastic achievement.'
Meanwhile, Brunt's teammate and compatriot Gareth McAuley wants West Brom to be the ones launching a lap of honour at the end of 90 minutes.
'It will be a hard game,' he said. 'They're going for the title and we've still got things to play for ourselves.
'It would be nice if we got a result to go around the pitch and appreciate our own supporters after that game.'
