Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that the £100million transfer barrier will soon be shattered.
Gareth Bale is the most expensive football in the world, signed by Real Madrid from the Gunners' north London arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur for £86illon.
Wenger expects prices to be driven up even higher by the arrival of China in the market and the power of the new £8billion television deal which will take effect in England in the summer.

Frenchman Wenger admitted he thinks the emergence of China in the market is a worry
Asked if China's emergence as a major force on the transfer scene was a worry, Wenger said: 'Yes, of course, because China looks to have the financial power to move a whole league of players from Europe to China.
'It is economic power and they have it. Will they sustain their enthusiasm? I don't know. I don't know how deep the desire is. If it's a very strong political desire we should worry.
'I believe any wave inflation is on our shores because of the new TV deal. I am sure the £100m target will be easy to reach.'
Liverpool target Alex Teixeira sealed a £40m move to Jiangsu Suning after Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande broke the Asian transfer record by signing Atletico Madrid's Jackson Martinez for £32m.
