Jose Mourinho has hailed old friend Sir Bobby Robson's 'extraordinary enthusiasm and passion' as an auction supporting the legendary manager's foundation prepares to come to a close on Sunday.
Robson and Mourinho worked together at Sporting Lisbon, Porto and Barcelona and the former Newcastle manager has long been hailed by the Chelsea boss as a huge influence on his career.
A signed 'Special 1' shirt is among an incredible list of lots in the Sir Bobby Robson Online Auction that ends on Sunday evening and Mourinho says the backing for it shows the lasting memory of his mentor on the whole world.

'I have been proud to support the Sir Bobby's Online Auction since day one,' Mourinho said.

'The success of the auction epitomises what the whole world still feels about Sir Bobby and I wish everyone connected with this amazing fundraiser the very best ahead of it ending on Sunday evening.'
Among the items available to sports fans before Sunday's 6.40pm deadline are almost 160 donations from the likes of Wayne Rooney, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur.
Tickets for top events including next year's Champions League final in Milan, the final of the World Snooker Championships and the World Darts Championships are also included.
Sir Alex Ferguson, who himself described Sir Bobby as an inspiration, has donated an incredible sketchbook drawn by Salford artist Harold Riley, who joined the managerial great on his most famous night in football – Manchester United’s dramatic comeback to lift the Champions League trophy in 1999.

Money raised from the annual auction has directly helped the fight against cancer, most notably by the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation which was set up in 2008 to support cancer projects and international research into the disease.
The auction also supports In The Game – the League Managers Association Charity, the GeeWizz charitable foundation and West Suffolk Hospital Charity.
