West Brom are interested in signing Queens Park Rangers Matt Phillips and offered Victor Anichebe and Jonas Olsson in exchange.

The Baggies are looking to sign the 24-year-old wideman and are hoping a player-swap deal could entice QPR into selling Phillips.

The former Wycombe and Blackpool winger scored three goals in 25 games as the Hoops were relegated from the Premier League last season.

The Scotland international has scored twice having appeared in all five of QPR's matches but may have played his last game for the club if West Brom's bid is successful.

Anichebe made a substitute appearance in West Brom's Premier League opener against Manchester City while Olsson has played every minute of the campaign so far.

West Brom manager Tony Pulis has so far made seven signings this summer after landing Manchester United duo Jonny Evans and Anders Lindegaard.
