Will they? Won't they? Keep track with Sportsmails Transfer news LIVE for the latest details of new arrivals and departures at your club.
BEN GROUNDS: Real Madrid full-back Fabio Coentrao has joined AS Monaco on loan until the end of the season.
The Portugal international has found his first-team opportunities limited at the Bernabeu by the form of Marcelo in the past two seasons.
Coentrao - who has made 55 La Liga appearances for Real - joins the French club until June 30 2016.
SAMI MOKBEL: Nottingham Forest have rejected West Ham's first offer for winger Michail Antonio.
Sportsmail revealed the Hammers' intention to bid for the exciting winger on Tuesday.
The bid was comprised of a £4.5million fee and Matt Jarvis on a season-long loan, with the Hammers picking up his wages.
PETE JENSON: David Silva is the one that got away. Real Madrid and Barcelona pride themselves on picking off the best players from the Premier League each season – they signed Gareth Bale in 2013 and Luis Suarez in 2014 after both had been voted Premier League player of the year – but the mercurial Manchester City midfielder has always been beyond them.
When they could have got him they didn't want him and now they want him they know they can't have him. Barcelona desperately needed midfield reinforcements this summer with Xavi gone and Andres Iniesta already 31 but they never considered Silva who they know former Barca Sporting Director Txiki Beguiristain would never let leave.
SIMON JONES: Norwich City have made an enquiry for Swansea City defender Jordi Amat.
Manager Alex Neil was keen on Marseille defender Nicolas Nkoulou but the 25-year-old Cameroon international has one year left on contract and is considering seeing out his deal and leaving as a free agent next summer.
Amat missed the end of last season with a broken metatarsal but has returned to fitness and played in last night's 3-0 Capital One Cup win over York.
SIMON JONES: West Ham's hopes of signing Simone Zaza from Juventus may be dashed as the Italians look to sell Fernando Llorente to Sevilla instead.
Juventus wanted to reduce their wage bill and were ready to let Zaza leave on loan, however, Sevilla have made an offer for Llorente which could see him join for £12million.
As a result Zaza wants to see whether he has a role to play in Turin with one less striker blocking his path to the first team.
SIMON JONES: Aston Villa striker Libor Kozak has turned down a move to Celtic.
The Czech striker has missed the last 19 months at Villa Park through injury, before returning in pre-season and came on as a substitute in last night's Capital One cup win over Notts County.
However, Villa will listen to offers but the Kozak would prefer to move elsewhere to rekindle his hopes of gaining a place in teh Czech squad for Euro 2016.
SIMON JONES: Bristol City have had a £300,000 bid turned down for Gillingham's Bradley Dack.
The 21-year-old midfielder has three years left on contract and is valued closer to £1m.
Sheffield United have also shown strong interest. Dack has scored five goals already this season including two in last Saturday's defeat of Wigan.
PETE JENSON: Barcelona will decide in the next five days whether or not to replace Chelsea winger Pedro in this transfer window, with Everton target Andriy Yarmolenko one of their potential targets.
The Catalans could move for Dynamo Kiev’s Yarmolenko or Celta Vigo forward Nolito, or they could do nothing knowing that the versatile Aleix Vidal signed from Sevilla this summer can also play as a winger and will be available in January.
Diario Sport claimed on Wednesday that Barca have bid €20m for the Ukrainian winger who if they signed would remain at Kiev until January.
NEIL ASHTON: Runaway Norwich striker Lewis Grabban was due to hold talks on Wednesday afternoon with manager Alex Neil after he bolted from the team hotel before Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup tie at Rotherham.
Grabban, desperate for a move back to Bournemouth, was due to be a substitute at the New York Stadium, but he took a train back to Norwich instead.
His disappearance from the hotel was only discovered when he failed to appear for a team meeting at 4.15pm, just three and a half hours before kick off.
SIMON JONES: Bury will ask to take Leicester City forward Joe Dodoo on loan following his hat-trick against them in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old was outstanding on his debut as Leicester won 4-1 at Gigg Lane and Bury boss David Flitcroft said: 'He's left a massive impression on us and I'll certainly be trying to chat to Claudio Ranieri.
'Forget his ability, I love his character. I love the way he did his work, went about his work and celebrated his goal. He feels the emotion of football and he looks a real threat.'
SIMON JONES: Barcelona are willing to open talks ahead of schedule over a new deal for Neymar to underline their commitment to keeping the Brazilian.
Manchester United have been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old as agents indicated he would be willing to listen to offers from abroad after growing exasperated by the ongoing legal battle surrounding his transfer from Santos.
However, executives at Barcelona have re-affirmed that, despite a meeting with Ed Woodward, the Manchester United executive vice-chairman did not discuss a proposed deal for Neymar.
SIMON JONES: Everton have opened talks with Barnsley over buying out the 15% sell-on clause inserted in John Stones's contract.
The Toffees are anticipating an offer of around £35million from Chelsea for the England defender but want closer to £40m for the 21-year-old.
Everton, Hull City, Southampton and West Brom were all represented at Deepdale on Tuesday as scouts ran the rule over Watford striker Matej Vydra.
CHRIS CUTMORE: Think you need to turn up to Stamford Bridge every other week to watch Chelsea players in action? Think again. Pretty much anywhere across Europe will do these days.
From Portugal in the west to Turkey in the east, Middlesbrough in the north to Rome in the south, Chelsea's players have been strewn out across the continent this summer in a slew of loan deals.
The departures of Juan Cuadrado to Juventus and Marko Marin to Trabzonspor has taken the number of Blues players currently out on loan to a staggering 26 - that's more than an entire Premier League squad of 25 - and counting.
SIMON JONES: Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes is discussing a move to Besiktas.
The Turkish side have offered the Spaniard a two-year contract with the option of a third year and he is willing to move and escape his nightmare at Old Trafford.
The 33-year-old was training at United's Carrington training centre yesterday along with David de Gea.
SIMON JONES: Tottenham Hotspur have made an £18million move for Bayer Leverkusen forward Heung-Min Son.
The 23-year-old was due to play tonight in their Champions League qualifier against Lazio but his selection has been thrown into doubt after Tottenham's bid which could rise to £21.9million, and the player expected in London for a medical.
Son, who can play on either wing or as a secondary striker, has been on Spurs' wishlist for some time and has been a target for Liverpool and Everton also.
MIKE KEEGAN: It can be scrawled on the back of a fag packet, spelt out on a piece of loo roll or even scribed onto a Post-it note.
But regardless of how it is delivered, the written transfer request is one of the most important statements in football.
It is the end game, the last resort, the sport’s equivalent of handing in your notice.
DANIEL PRESCOTT: Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal has hit out at football clubs for paying too much for players - just weeks after moving to the Allianz Arena for £28million.
The 28-year-old, who made the move to Munich from Turin this summer, believes some players would need to score a hattrick every week to justify their price tag.
And Copa America-winning Vidal claims bloated transfer fees put far too much pressure on players, when only a select few are worth big money.
ROHAN BANERJEE: Lucas Leiva's proposed loan switch from Liverpool to Besiktas is off, according to the Turkish club's president Fikret Orman.
The midfielder was expected to leave Anfield this summer after falling down the pecking order in manager Brendan Rodgers' plans, but an injury to Jordan Henderson has seen any ideas to offload him shelved.
Lucas was recalled to the Reds' starting line-up in the 0-0 draw with Arsenal on Monday night and put in an impressive performance.
ROHAN BANERJEE: Liverpool misfit Mario Balotelli offered a laboured goodbye to the club's fans as he prepares to seal a loan move back to former side AC Milan.
The 25-year-old striker joined the Reds from Milan just last summer in a £16million transfer, but after only four goals in 28 appearances in all competitions, he has been promptly offloaded.
Still, Balotelli said he was grateful to have been given the opportunity to play for Liverpool and will continue to support the Anfield outfit unless, of course, they face Milan.
JOE BERNSTEIN: Disruptive, expensive, annoying... Premier League managers are up in arms about the current transfer window and its effect on clubs and players.

PETE JENSON: Barcelona will sit down with Neymar’s advisors before the end of the year to discuss a new five-year contract that will see his buy-out clause increase to 250m euros (£182m) in line with Lionel Messi’s.
The discussions were planned at the end of last season by president Josep Bartomeu before he stood down for the club elections that he then won in July.
The player’s current deal runs until 2018 and the club want him to sign a new contract before the end of this season that will tie him down until 2021. His salary is officially set at 8.8m euros (£6.4m) net per season but Barcelona are still in court over the accusation that they structured his transfer from Santos in such a way as to top-up his earnings while avoiding income tax.
PETE JENSON: David Moyes has won the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi with Real Sociedad buying their former player back for £17million less than they sold him for two years ago.
Real Madrid bought the now 25-year-old former Spain Under 21 international for 39m euros (£28.5m) in July 2013 but after he failed to make the grade at the Santiago Bernabeu they have agreed to send him back for just 16m euros (£11.7m).
The Basque club were struggling to raise the asking price but Madrid have allowed them to take the player on loan now with an obligation to buy him at the end of the season.
SIMON JONES: Chelsea will continue to press for Paul Pogba after seeing a £54million for the towering French midfielder rejected by Juventus last week.
Despite the insistence from Juventus that Pogba is not for sale, the Premier League champions will try again before the window closes as Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his squad.
Barcelona held formal talks in June with Juventus over Pogba and believe they have an option for signing the 22-year-old next summer with the valuation set at around £73million.
SPORTSMAIL REPORTERS: With less than a week to go until the transfer window closes, we asked our team of reporters what fans can expect from their club over the next few days, and whether things have gone well so far.
Here is what they said...
SAMI MOKBEL: Tottenham will table a third offer for Saido Berahino after their latest bid was rejected on Tuesday.
Sportsmail revealed on Monday that Spurs were readying a new £21million offer for the West Brom striker after their initial £18million offer was rebuffed.
And the striker is said to be angry after Tuesday's offer from the White Hart Lane club was unsuccessful.
ASHLEY CLEMENTS: Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool made a 'major mistake' by signing Mario Balotelli last summer and admits he isn't sad to see the back of the Italian striker.
Balotelli all but completed his return to AC Milan on Tuesday after a disappointing season at Anfield which saw the 25-year-old score just one goal in his 16 Premier League appearances.
And Sportsmail columnist Carragher revealed he 'still can't believe' that his beloved Liverpool signed Balotelli for £16million ahead of the 2014-15 season.
SIMON JONES: Tottenham are considering walking away from a deal for Saido Berahino over West Brom's valuation.
The White Hart Lane club had a £22million offer rejected by the Baggies on Tuesday, their second bid, for the England U21 international with Albion re-iterating they did not wish to sell.
Berahino has already had a transfer request rejected and is understood to be unhappy at Albion's refusal to deal with the north London club.
SAMI MOKBEL: West Ham are preparing a move for Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio.
The forward is one of the hottest properties outside the Premier League and the Hammers are showing an interest in the 25-year-old.
And the Hammers are considering an offer in region £4.5million for Antonio.
SIMON JONES: Erik Lamela is in negotiations with Inter Milan over a potential summer move, his father and agent has confirmed.
Sportsmail reported that Inter have offered a £4million loan fee with an additional £10m to follow at the end of the season but that is falling short of Tottenham's valuation.
'We're talking with Inter, their interest is real,' Jose Lamela told Gazzetta dello Sport.
SIMON JONES: Everton have made a £5million move for Tottenham centre back Federico Fazio.
The Argentina international had been talking to West Bromwich Albion before talks broke down at the weekend.
Everton have moved swiftly as they prepare for the possible departure of John Stones, who put in a transfer request on Tuesday afternoon following three failed bids from Chelsea.
SIMON JONES and PETE JENSON: David Moyes is hopeful of closing a deal for Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi despite the interest of Southampton.
Sociedad have made a £12m offer to Madrid while Southampton hope to sign him on an initial loan.
The defensive midfielder is surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu and is caught between a move back to David Moyes' Real Sociedad or a switch to the Premier League.
STEPHEN MCGOWAN: Virgil van Dijk has admitted he has almost certainly played his last game for Celtic.
The Dutchman is poised to join English Premier League club Southampton in an £11million deal after failing to lead the Scottish champions to the Champions League group stages in his swansong.
Breaking his silence on his future after the 2-0 defeat to Malmo which condemned Ronny Deila's side to Europa League football the Dutchman admitted: 'There is a chance it could be my last appearance.
DOMINIC KING and JACK GAUGHAN: Mario Balotelli has re-joined AC Milan on a season-long loan - immediately declaring he needs stop talking and knuckle down.
The Liverpool striker, who had been training away from the first team squad for most of the last month, has been in Milan over the weekend in an attempt to thrash out a deal to take him away from Anfield.
Balotelli was pictured coming out of a black Audi wearing a red Puma hoodie as he made his way into hospital before penning a deal.
CHARLES SALE: Premier League clubs considering huge outlays in the final week of the transfer window will be greatly encouraged by the start of the auction for overseas television rights.
The signs are that there will be a significant increase on the current £2.2billion of contracts — to be added to the £5.1bn jackpot from the domestic deals — certainly judging by the first two deals out of a proposed 80 agreements for rights in 180 territories.
The Premier League do not automatically disclose the values of their foreign rights but American reports claim the six-year extended deal with NBC for the hugely competitive US market was worth £640m ($1bn) — double the current contract.
NEIL ASHTON: Lewis Grabban went AWOL from Norwich's team hotel after Canaries manager Alex Neil told him he was a substitute for their Capital One Cup tie with Rotherham.
The forward, who is desperate to return to Bournemouth before the transfer window closes, fled the hotel without telling team-mates or the manager that he was leaving.
Bournemouth submitted a third formal offer to Norwich chief executive David McNally for £5.2million on Tuesday morning, with £1m in incentives if Eddie Howe's team remain in the Barclays Premier League.
SIMON JONES: Watford have opened talks with Rennes over a possible £8million move for midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The 22-year-old was scouted by Chelsea last season and has been capped by France at U21 level.
The Premier League newcomers will have to make sacrifices to several of the overseas acquisitions, but manager Quique Sanchez Flores is interested in bringing Doucoure to Vicarage Road.
SIMON JONES: Aston Villa have held talks over a potential deal for Roma attacking midfielder Adem Ljajic.
The Serbia international has fallen down the pecking order at the Serie A club following the summer arrivals of Mohamed Salah from Chelsea and Edin Dzeko from Manchester City.
And Roma are ready to cash in on Ljajic, who has previously attracted interest from Manchester United and Tottenham.
PETE JENSON: Southampton could make a late bid to enter the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi.
The defensive midfielder is surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu and is caught between a move back to David Moyes' Real Sociedad or a switch to the Premier League.
Sociedad are favourites to take the 25-year-old Spaniard but Real Madrid want the player to move on a permanent basis and not on loan. The Basque club are still struggling to raise the €15million (£11m) asking price and match the player's €2.5m (£1.8m) salary.
DOMINIC KING and JOE STRANGE: John Stones has taken matters into his owns hands and handed in a transfer request in attempt to force through his dream move to Chelsea.
The champions are now expected to return with a fourth bid in the region of £35million for the defender as one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer reaches a head.
Stones – who has seen Chelsea’s offers of £20m, £26m and £30m rebuffed – did not want to take this course of action but felt he had no other option as Everton hold such a stubborn stance.
The Premier League is well and truly under way but there is still plenty of activity in the transfer window as managers attempt to put the finishing touches to their squads before this summer's deadline.
