Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung has emerged as a surprise target for Arsenal.
Manager Arsene Wenger and his recruitment staff are considering options to bolster their midfield and the South Korean is back on their list of prospective names.
Ki was a target for Arsene Wenger back in 2012 while at Celtic prior to his £7million transfer and has enjoyed a strong season back at Swansea following a year on loan at Sunderland.

Ki has made 33 Premier League appearances this season, often in the holding midfield role, and scored eight goals. Arsenal have other options on their list including Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin but Ki would be available at a cheaper price.
Schneiderlin is adamant that he wants to be playing at a Champions League club and, amid interest from Arsenal, also wants to stay in England.
‘I think my decision is made,’ he said. ’I learned a lot last season. The goal is to stay in England. It is a championship that I like and where I have a lot of fun. If I leave Southampton, it is for a club that plays better than the Europa League.
‘There are ongoing discussions but nothing is done. But of course the Champions League is my goal. If I leave Southampton it will be for a club in the Champions League.z
