They have both managed Southampton and Tottenham but that is not all Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Redknapp have in common.
They also share a birthday and Sunday’s game at White Hart Lane will have special significance for both men.
'I know all about Harry Redknapp and I have full respect for him,' said Pochettino, who is preparing for his first competitive home game as Spurs boss, against QPR, which just happens to be Redknapp’s first return since he was sacked in 2012.

The pair seem to have a cosmic connection. 'He was born on the same day as me, March 2,' Pochettino added.
'So he is a special person too like me. When Southampton played against QPR on March 2 it was funny because he came with a birthday present for me, a very good bottle of red wine; very, very good.'
Pochettino had little else to celebrate that day at St Mary’s however, as Redknapp’s QPR won 2-1.
